Gladius Handle - Copper

The Gladius came about, like many new things at Karve, during a session of tinkering wedged between regular production. I went to the lathe with a crude idea and several hours later, the Gladius pattern was born.
The name “Gladius” is special to me because it was chosen by the community by way of a mini-contest on the Canadian Wet Shavers Facebook page (I actually shipped the first batch before Gladius even had its name).
The pattern is cut into the body of the handle, instead of formed, which ensures that all of the edges of the pattern are smooth and clean, while still providing plenty of friction for wet fingers.
This handle is manufactured from solid copper and is bead blasted for a subtle matte finish.
The metal remains uncoated, so a patina will form over time and the surfaces will darken.
Each is furnished with a #10-32 thread.
